Course Description
A course that allows students to work on pain gait theory and relieve patients pain through electrical devices TENS, work on muscular stiffness and give them relieve through EMS. It provides a lot of career opportunities and also helps them learn new skills with regards to the body. It provides excellent career opportunities to the individuals once they complete the course.
Course Objectives
- Reduce client/patient pain.
- Promote the ability to move.
- Restore, improve, and maintain optimum physical function, wellness and fitness, and quality of life as it relates to health and movement.
- Demonstrate effective clinical decision-making skills

Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
The goal is to reduce pain, restore physical health, quality of life and overall wellness to the patient. Electrotherapy includes a range of treatments using electricity to reduce pain, improve circulation, repair tissues, strengthen muscles, and promote bone growth, leading to improvements in physical functioning.
Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)
A student will be able to apply his knowledge gained in this course in any health care setup treat patient, work on his/her mobility and improve his lifestyle.
