Course Description
Cryopreservation is a process that preserves organelles, cells, tissues, or any other biological constructs by cooling the samples to very low temperatures. In this course we are going into details of how to cryopreserve our samples to increase their shelf life from few days to months to years. Most advanced technique of cryopreservation is via liquid nitrogen with proper sample preparation. In this course, every aspect related to cryopreservation of different types of samples will be covered.
Course Objectives
- To provide with an overview of the challenges & advantages associated with cryopreservation.
- To assist them with problem resolution in their routine work & to enable them to consider future involvement in Cryopreservation procedures.
- To facilitate networking between clinicians and cryo-researchers to review challenges and issues to help in optimization of protocol with innovative structure.
